<br />'-- <br /> <br />'-- <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met at its regular meeting place, <br />the Town Hall, on June 25, 1987 at 7:30 P.M. Present were board Members <br />Vern Kimmel, William Abbott, Warren Franklin, Tilford Bailey, Dave <br />Barry, Joel Beebe, and Steve Edwards. The Board's attorney, Timothy C. <br />Currens was also present. The Board's Chairman, Vern Kimmel, called the <br /> <br />meeting to order and determined that there was a quorum present. <br /> <br />The Board proceeded to approve the minutes of the prior meeting. The <br />Board then proceeded to the first item on the agenda, that being the <br />George Fox Subdivision Plat. <br />Mr. Fox appeared by Dave Lawson, his counsel and Mr. Lawson filed a <br />continuance of the meeting due to a failure to publish notice. The <br />certified letters were filed and approved and all parties present for <br />said hearing were advised that no additional certified notices would be <br />sent out and that the next scheduled meeting was July 23, 1987 at 7:30 P.M. <br />which they should appear at. Mr. Lawson also filed the substitute <br />plat with lot corrections, a letter from the County Highway Department <br />approving the roads and the location map. <br />The next item to come before the Board was the secondary approval <br /> <br /> <br />of Woodland Hills. Tom Lloyd and Allen Tutewiler were present and <br /> <br /> <br />presented the changes requested at the prior meeting. The Board reviewed <br /> <br /> <br />these and William Abbott asked a question regarding the drainage. <br /> <br /> <br />Delbert Hobson, the Engineer was also present with Mr. Lloyd and advised <br /> <br /> <br />that he felt the development would not increase the downstream hydraulic <br /> <br /> <br />peak of the waterway in which the watershed the property is located, <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Abbott questioned this due to the amount of asphalt <br /> <br /> <br />and quick water. Mr. Hobson stated that the calculations had not been <br />
