<br />~ <br /> <br />","-- <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />February 28, 1985 <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met at its regularly scheduled meeting <br /> <br />on February 28, 1985 at the ~~oresville Town Hall. Present were Board Members <br /> <br />Dave Barry, Charles Swisher, Ron Alexander, William Abbott, Stephen Edwards, <br /> <br />Vernon Kimmel, and Wendell Thaler. Building Inspector Joe Beikman was present <br /> <br />and the Board's Attorney, Timothy C. Currens, was also present. Board Chairman <br /> <br />Barry acknowledged that there was a quorum present and the Board proceeded <br /> <br />to the approval of the minutes of the prior meeting. <br /> <br />The Board proceeded to the agenda, the first item of business being the <br /> <br />contract proposed between the Town of Mooresville and Arvin and Mary Lou Hopkins. <br /> <br />Mr. Hopkins was present in person and with counsel David Lawson. Attorney <br /> <br />Currens advised the Board that the changes which the Board requested at its <br /> <br />last meeting had been made and the Board members then proceeded to review the <br /> <br />written document. Also present were Bruce Smitherman, one of the adjoining <br /> <br />property owners, and Mr. Campbell another adjoining property owner showed up <br /> <br />shortly after the review of the contract. Mr. Smitherman acknowledged that he <br /> <br />had reviewed the contract and changes with Attorney Currens and had no comment <br /> <br />at this time. The motion was then made by Vernon Kimmel to recommend to the <br /> <br />Town Board of Trustees that this contract be passed. This was seconded by <br /> <br />Steve Edwards and unanimously carried. The Board then proceeded to sign the <br /> <br />contract on behalf of the Mooresville Plan Commission. <br /> <br />The next item to come before the Board was the unsafe building violation <br /> <br />alleged against Jerry Graybill at 125 East High Street. Present on behalf of <br /> <br />the Town was Building Inspector Joe Beikman, present for the property owners <br />
