<br />· <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />THURSDAY, JANUARY 25, 2001 <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met on Thursday, January 25, 2001, at 7:00 P. M., at the <br />Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Plan commission members present were: Joel Beebe, Mike Young, Andy Pygman, John Ehrhart, <br />Tim Bennett, Robert Wil1iamson, Jim Bruner, and Chris Crouch. Town attorney Tim Currens <br />was present. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Pygman., second by Commissioner Bruner to approve <br />minutes of December 20, 2000. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />Reorganization: Motion was made by Commissioner Young, second by Commissioner Bennett <br />to nominate Joel Beebe for Chairman. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Bennett, second by Commissioner Bruner to nominate Mike <br />Young as Vice-Chairman. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Young, second by Commissioner Bennett to nominate Andy <br />Pygman as Secretary. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Chairman Beebe appointed Mike Young to serve on the Board of Zoning Appeals from the Plan <br />Commission. He also appointed Mike Young and Tim Bennett to the Technical Review <br />Committee. <br /> <br />First on the agenda was a complaint from Vernon L. Mil1er, 5791 East County Line Road against <br />D. Khun of 5767 E. County Line Road. Mr. Vernon says Mr. Kuhn is running a salvage yard at <br />his residence. Mr. Vernon brought pictures for the commission. Commissioner Williamson <br />visited the site and said this area was zoned residential. The commission directed Joe Beikman, <br />Building Inspector, to draft a letter to Mr. Kuhn to ask ifhe is running a business, and ifhe is he <br />is in violation of the ordinance. <br /> <br />John Larrison, Holloway & Associates, presented a three lot minor plat for Shannon Carr. This <br />area is located on Crosby Road and is zoned agriculture. The area consists of just under nine <br />acres. Green cards and soil reports were submitted. The lot sizes would be: Lot 1 - five acres, <br />Lot 2 - two point eight acres, and Lot 3 - one point zero three three acres. The existing stone <br />drive is the easement that will go back to each of the three lots and would be a share and share <br />alike basis. A note will be included on the plat to say these three lots are the final division under <br />Mooresvil1e's Ordinance. Commissioner Pygman asked if county permits were obtained for the <br />street cut. Mr. Larrison answered "yes". Motion was made by Commissioner Wil1iamson, <br />second by Commissioner Bruner to accept the three lot minor plat as submitted. Motion carried <br />7-0. <br />
