<br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, OCTOBER 27,2005 <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met on Thursday October 27,2005 at 6 p. m. at the <br />Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Commission member present were: Chairman Mike Young, James Logan, Darrell <br />Brown, John Ehrhart, Troy Bryant, Robert Williamson, Charles Berwick and Charles <br />Mc Guire. Robert Hugh Corbin was absent. Town Attorney Tim Currens was also <br />present. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Young. A motion was made by <br />Commissioner Logan and seconded by Commissioner Ehrhart to approve the minutes <br />from the September 22,2005. The motion carried 8-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />The meeting dates for November and December. The meeting were set for November <br />10th following the Board of Zoning Appeals. The December meeting will also follow the <br />Board of Zoning Appeals meeting on December 08,2005. <br /> <br />The Habitat for Hunmanity people were not all there, Chairman passed them until later in <br />the meeting. <br /> <br />The first to be heard was Ross Holloway for Steve Striebeck asking for a rezone for a <br />PUD-E for the property at 1125 North Indiana Street. Mr. Holloway had hand-outs for <br />the Board showing the proposed plan. Mr. Holloway explaned that the advertised <br />proposal was listed as a PUD-R, but it is a PUD-E mixed use. Mr. Holloway said they <br />had a neighbor hood meeting on October 13,2005 at the Free Methodist Church to hear <br />some of the neighbors questions and concerns. <br /> <br />Mr. Holloway then asked Mr. Striebeck to explain the Indiana Commons Patio Homes, <br />age restrictions, he also said that under Indiana law that it is possible to restrict the age to <br />55 years of age and older. Mr. Striebeck said that it can be certified that one of the <br />partners must be 55 or older to buy these homes. Also children would not be allowed to <br />reside, but could visit. He said that he home would be 2 bed rooms, 2 baths, dining room, <br />living room, kitchen, front and back porch and an over sized 2 car garage. Mr. Striebeck <br />did not go to the microphone so every thing he said was not recorded will enough to hear. <br />Mr. Holloway told that it would mean 14 homes and the one business lot in this project. <br />The homes would have a high quality siding and brick, trees would be in the front and <br />back of the homes other landscaping would also be done. There would be a forty foot set <br />back from Indiana Street and a twenty foot from the rear. The streets would be done to <br />The Town requirements and would be dedicated to Mooresville. There will be four foot <br />sidewalks on both side of the street. Mr. Holloway at this time explained that there <br />
