BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />DECEMBER 18, 1996, 7:00 P. M. <br /> MOORESVILLE TOWN HALL <br /> <br />The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met on Wednesday, December 18, <br />1996 at 7:00 P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Members present were: Alan Kramer, Vern Kimmel, Tom Warthen, Donald <br />Barry, and Mike Young. No members were absent. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Tom Warthen, second by Vern Kimmel to approve the <br />minutes of the November 20, 1996 meeting. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Ross Holloway presented a request for variance of use from Danny Karr. <br />The variance is 600 feet north of Allisonville Rd. The building began <br />as a pole barn and halfway thru construction of the building Mr. Karr <br />found out he needed a variance to use the building as storage units. <br />Mr. Karr is asking for a variance to build three units on thirty nine <br />acres --a total of 100 units. <br /> <br />After a discussion between some surrounding neighbors and the Board <br />and Mr. Karr and Mr. Holloway a motion was made by Vern Kimmel, second <br />by Don Barry to deny this petition for a variance. Motion carried <br />unanimously. The written findings will be at the next meeting. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, <br />motion was made by Tom Warthen, second by Mike Young to adjourn the <br />meeting. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The next regular scheduled meeting of the Board of Zoning Appeals will <br />be Wednesday, January 15, 1997, at the Mooresville Town Hall at 7:00 <br />P.
