206 January 4 1994 The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council was held Tuesday, January 4, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. Council members present were Tim Viles, Steve Edwards, Dick Heald, and Pat Overholser. Council President Steve Ballard was absent. In the absence of President Ballard, Council Vice President Pat Overholser chaired the meeting. Councilwoman Overholser announced to the Council that re-organization of the Council was in order and asked for nominations for Council President for 1994. Councilman Heald nominated Councilwoman Overholser, Councilman Edwards second the nomination. There being no other nominations, Councilwoman Overholser was unanimously elected President of the Mooresville Town Council for 1994. President Overho!ser asked for nominations for Council Vice President for 1994. Councilman Heald nominated Councilman Tim Viles, Councilman Edwards second the nomination. There being no other nominations, Councilman Viles was unanimously elected Vice President of the Mooresville Town Council for 1994. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. Council President Overholser thanked Councilman Ballard for the work he had done for the town as Council President. Mr. George Moffitt of Indiana State Highway Department addressed the Council in regard to the signage of State Road 267 and State Road 144 in Mooresville. Mr. Moffitt requested the Council approve changing State Road 267 from stopping at Indiana Street to continue to High Street; State Road 42 from stopping at Indiana Street to continue east to State Road 67; State Road 144 will be east of State Road 67. The Council agreed to these changes by consensus. Motion was made by Councilman Viles, second by Councilman Heald to approve Ordinance #1-1994 An Ordinance Establishing A Four-Way Stop Intersection at the Intersection of Monroe Street and Harrison Street. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Councilman Heald second by Councilman Viles to approve the contract with Wabash Scientific for administration of Grant for lin-el Corporation, grant administration fees being re-imbursed to the Town by lin-el Corporation. Motion carried unanimously. The following appointments were made by the Town Council: Steve Edwards, Tim Bennett and Bill Abbott to the Mooresville Plan Commission. Norman Connell and Dave Kollmeyer to the Mooresville Redevelopment Commission. Curt Wilcher to the Economic Development Commission. The following appointments were made by Council President .... Overholser: Robert Tucker, Charles S~ishe~ and Glen Barrbn to the Mooresville Redevelopment Commission. Donald Barry to the Mooresville Board of zoning Appeals. Boyd Head and Tim Viles to the Mooresville Hospital Authority.
