Town attorney Tim Currens also reported that the previous <br />Town Council had made a resolution for the property owner on <br />the far west end of Victor Drive stating that the property owner <br />was exempt from hooking onto the sanitary line because said <br />line was not deep enough and a lift station would be needed which <br />would be a lot of expense. The property owner had presented <br />the previous Town Council with a study showing that her present <br />septic system was not a sanitary problem. Now this property <br />has been deeded into a Trust. Motion was made by Councilman <br />Pygmam, second by Councilman Wright to approve the change of <br />status of the property being deeded into a Trust, noting that <br />if there ever is a transfer of ownership, hook-on to the sewer <br />system will be automatic. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Town Council President Mathis announced that the property <br />at 104 West Main Street had been closed and was now owned by <br />The Town of Mooresville. Remodeling for the new police station <br />should begin soon. He also stated he had received some five (5) <br />or six (6) negative phone calls relating to the changes that <br />were to be made at the intersection of Old 67 and Indianapolis <br />Road.Council President Mathis and Street Superintendent Joe <br />Beikman took another look at the intersection but out of the <br />options available, the option that had been voted on will be the <br />option that is completed. Projected cost for the changes will <br />be approximately $15,000 - $16,000 dollars. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Wright, second by Councilman <br />Dolen to release the sanitary bond portion of the letter of <br />credit for R-K Enterprises project on State Road 144. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported twenty-eight (28) <br />calls - Nine (9) impounded - and two (2) returned. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by CQuncilman Pygman, second by Councilman <br />Wright to approve the bills. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business before the Town Council at <br /> this time, motion was made by Councilman Pygman, second by <br /> Councilman Wright, to adjourn.
