Q <br />made by Councilman Shields witlr a second by Councilman Ilarris to approve Ordinance 9, 2007 on first <br />reading incxeasizag tb.e wastewater rate and adding a storm water fee. Motion passed 5-0. The public <br />hearing will be advertised far June, 2007 meeting. <br />A motion was rrrade by Councilman Clark with a second by Councihrran Dolerr to table the request letter <br />from Kim and Tina Dyer to hook on to wastewater at 740 Jolrnsorr Rd. until June 5, 2007 xtreeting. Motion <br />carried 5-0. Contingezrci.es to the request were $900 hook on fee, annexation, and boring under Jolrtrsorr <br />Road to the zzraizt would be their cost. <br />A nrolion was made by Councilman Shields with a second by Councilman Clark to approve Ordinance 10, <br />2007, making storm water a utility and the Town Council as the head of that utility on first reading. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br />A motion was made by Courrcilrrrarr Dolan with a second by Councilman Clark Co approve (7rdinance 11, <br />2007 establishing a storm water fee of $1.50 each montkr billed on t}re sewer bill to Town users. `1"his is the <br />fzrst xeadizrg; secozrd reading will be June 5, 2007. Motion carried 5-0. <br />A motion was made to sign a refund agreemezrt with Meadowlake for Developer Availability by <br />Counciltzrau. Clark with a second by Councilman Dolezr. Motion carried 5-0. <br />"1`own Council President Tont Warthen reported to couzrdl he could not suggest selling the old street garage <br />facility yet due to the entire inventory the street garage maintains. They might need to keep sotrre of the <br />facility for outside storage. <br />Animal Control Officer, Mark Taylor, reported twenty-three (23) calls, twelve (] 2) impounds, and two (2) <br />retunrs. <br />Councilman Shields inquired about the progress of landscaping in areas of the new curbs. Joe 13eiknran <br />said David Moore, Utility Department, had called for irunates to help but did trot receive a call back. <br />Attorney Currens stated the wage board was to meet on Wednesday, May 16`'', and he had ads drafted to <br />advertise for bids on paving. A motion was made by Councilman. Shields with a second by Councilman <br />Clark to advertise for paving bids. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Attorney Currens told Scott, Haltom. Equipment, building arrci land orr Highway fr7 that he had received one <br />bid and was waitiurg on the second. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Harris to approve payment of the <br />claims. Motion carried 5-0. <br />There being zro further business to cotrre before the council at this time a motion was made by Councilman <br />Shields with a seco.trd by Councilman Dolerr to adjourn th.e meeting.
