Town attorney Tina Currens has requested information in writing from the accounting firm, county surveyor, Terry Brock, and Dave Best at Dominion. Mrs. Atwood handed a list of questions to each council member. She wanted to know what the original information requested to Joe Beikman to ask Christopher Burke. Joe asked for any pre development plans for Rooker Trace and Rooker Road. They cannot be found. Mrs. Atwood asked what could be done next. Council President Worthen told her that was what they keep trying to find out. Mrs. Atwood asked why Joe Beikman couldn't go to Ross Holloway and see how the flow was calculated. She said a person should be able to know what the runoff would b~ with both additions. Councilman Shields stated he did not see how the residents could hold the Town Council responsible. Joe Beikman sat at the time both additions were built they had to certify the down flow would not affect other properties. He does not believe the topos can be located. Mrs. Atwood asked if the covenants do not cover responsibility of water flow or the city ar state, then who is responsible, the State said the Town was responsible. Mrs. Atwood said she had talked to residents of Boyd Heights and they were having flooding problems and then Rooker Trace and Rooker Run was developed and the flooding stopped. She wanted to know what the actual size was of retention basis to begin with and what the size of the retention is now. When the Plan Commission approved Rooker Run, Ross Holloway was quoted as saying the ditches and drains were in bad shape so what was done to alleviate that? Mr. Atwood say they would like some answers in writing by September 15~', so they could have them before next meeting. Tim Currens told Mrs. Atwood he was sure the county would. cooperate with us with any information they might or might not have. Councilman Shields stated he wanted to discontinue the discussions. Councilman Harris told Mrs. Atwood and the other residents present the council was trying to find information and find who is responsible because the council wanted answers just as much as they wanted answers. Councilman Harris told them he lived in Rooker Trace and He wanted to know the answers and told them Councilman Worthen had worked hours and hours on this drainage problem. Councilman Shields gave an update on two projects. CGl's agreement is to provide a one to two minute production promo of the Town to put on the website and then develop films on other aspects of the Town. This is scheduled far October 3, 2007. Councilman Shields also wants to get people involved in government by taking a Town Council meeting to the school. This would be a real meeting and he will try to schedule the first meeting in December with the school. A motion was made by Councilman Harris with a second by Councilman. Clark to proceed with setting up floe meeting to be held at the High"School. Motion carried 5-0. A motion was made by Councilman Shields with a second by Councilman Harris to suspend discussions with Springinill residents. Motion carried 4-1. Councilman Clark opposed. Legal: A motion was made by Councilman Harris with a second by Councilman Dolen to approve two dedications of Town Center roads. Motion carried 5-0. The Town auction was successful bringing in a total of $6,002.00 and after the auction company percentage in the amount of $1,097.90 netting a total of $4, 904.10. Animal Control Officer, Mark Taylor, reported twenty-nine (29) calls, eleven (11) impounds, and five (S) returned. A motion. was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Dolen to approve payment of Claims. Motion tamed 5-0. There being no further business to come before the council at this time a motion was made by Councilman Dvlen with a second by Councilman Clark to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 5-0. The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at 6:30 P. M.
