g ~r Atwood, Springmill Drive, asked the council where they stood on the drainage problem thru the questions <br />she left with them at the last meeting. Council President Warthen told her the list of questions were turned over <br />to legal counsel. Tom Warthen believed more and more that the information is not out there. He told Mrs. <br />Atwood that Jeff Banning had made an offer to go from one end to the other to see what it would take to ftx the <br />problem. Attorney Currens told Mrs. Atwood he had sent a letter to Dale Coons from Dominion and his secretary <br />said not information available. Mr. Currens said some infortrxation is very old and cannot be found and the <br />council is trying very hard to find a solution and they don't necessarily have to do this. He told her he would <br />have answers to her questions later on in the week. A motion was made Councilman Shields with a second by <br />Councilman Clark to have Brian Haggard, Banning Engineering, to do an evaluation. Motion carried 5-0. <br />WWTP- The new sludge truck is in and working. At that time it was decided to switch the tank off the ald vac <br />truck to the new Stirling chassis. Also there was an offer to trade in the old vac truck for $4,000 to $6,000. A <br />motion was made by Councilman Hams with a second by Councilman Dolen to approve switching the tank for <br />$34,000 cost to be paid from Food and Beverage and to trade in the old Vac Truck. Motion carried ~-1 with <br />Councilman Clark opposed. <br />Animal Control Offtcer Mark Taylor reported nineteen (19) calls, eight (S) impounds and five (5) returned <br />Boy Scout Troop # 231 was present at the meeting. Mr. Saucerman is their leader and they meet in the ald <br />log cabin at the old Town Fark. <br />A matian was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Dolen to approve payment of the <br />claims. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Councilman Shields announced tl~e first Thursday in December will be the Town Council. aneeting at the <br />Mooresville Consolidated School. This was acceptable with the council. The time of day will be announced <br />later. <br />There being no further business to be discussed a motion was made by Councilman Dolen with a second by <br />Councilman Clark to adjourn the meeting, Motion carried unanimously. <br />The next regular scheduled meeting will bean Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at 6:30 P.
