Councilman Clark has sidewalks that need installed. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Shields to. <br />approve payment of claims. Motion carried 4-0. <br />There being no further business to come before the council at this time a motion was <br />made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Clark to adjourn the meeting. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />The next regular session of the Mooresville Town Council will be Tuesday, July S, 2005, <br />at 6:30 P. July 5, 2005, at 6:00 <br />P.M, at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br />Council members present: Council President Tom Warthen, John L Clark, Toby Dolen, <br />Troy Bryant and Eric Shields. Town attorney Tim Currens was present. <br />Jirn Taylor, Grace Missionary Church, gave the prayer. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Dolen, to approve the <br />minutes of June 20`" and June 21, 2005. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Holloway Engineering, Dan Roberts rezone to PUD-R, tabled from June 21, 2005. <br />There was no one here from Hollaway Engineering. <br />At the last meeting the council had accepted the bid from Bawen Engineering <br />Corporation for the wastewater treatment expansion. Mr. Currens had received the <br />cantract from them. Council President Warthen asked if there were any questions. <br />There being no questions he asked for a motion to approve or deny the contract. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Bryant to approve the <br />contract, construction agreement and notice to proceed. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Council President Warthen asked if the Council members had thought about the truck <br />route and if they had any suggestions. He had made a tour around Martinsville to see <br />how their signs were posted and he believes this is a workable plan. Their ordinance <br />1.462 2001 had one flaw. He stated part A stated that permission could be obtained from <br />the Martinsville Police Chief to operate certain vehicles on the city streets. He felt that <br />that could be struck from the ordinance, because he did not felt that that burden. of <br />responsibility should be placed on the Police Chief. He said he would. like a motion to <br />have Mr. Currens to draw up an ordinance for next meeting so it can be published. <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />A motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Shields, to have Mr. <br />Currens draft a truck route ordinance for the meeting an July 19, 2005. Motion carried <br />5-0. <br />
