Shields. Motion carried 4-1 with Councilman Bryant apposed. This proposal will be <br />sent to the Plan Commission at tYteir next meeting. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Clark to have <br />Universal Valuations to evaluate the Town's property and add the new maintenance barn <br />to the evaluations. Malian carried 5-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Bryant with a second by Councilman Dolen to <br />approve the signing of Ordinance 2, 2004 for the Adams property off of Highway 67 next <br />to'TOA, USA rezone and set a public hearing for April 6, 2004. Motion carried S-0. <br />The council signed Confirmatory Resolution 2, 2004 to acqui ou 9 i man C1ark~tMotion <br />a motion was made by Councilman Dolen with a second by C <br />carried 5-0. <br />Animal Control Officer Mark 'Caylor reported sixteen (16) calls, five (S) impounds, and <br />two (2) returns. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Dolen to <br />approve payment of the claims. Perry, Clerk-Treasurer <br />March 2, 2004 <br />The Mooresville "town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, March. 2, 2004, at <br />6:30 P.M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br />Town Council members present were: President, Tom Worthen, Troy Bryant, John L. <br />Clark, Toby Dolen and Eric Shields. Eric Shields arrived after some of the votes were <br />taken. Town. Attorney, Tim Currens was also present. <br />Larry card from. First Baptist Church of Mooresville gave the prayer. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to approve the <br />tnizxutes of the February 17, 2004 meeting, as amended. Motion carried 4-0. <br />_... <br />--- <br />............. <br />-- <br />Brent Callahan, Park Superintendent, was present to request perrrussion to seen <br />$32,516.00 from the Park Non-reverting Capztal Fund for the purchase of a new mowing <br />tractor. The new tractor would replace a tractor approximately 12 years old with 4,000 <br />hours on it. A motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to <br />approve the purchase of the tractor. Motion carried 4-0. <br />~~~ <br />'t"he next item on the agenda was the determination of damages award on the eminent <br />domain proceedings of 39 W. Main in Mooresville. Town attorney, Tim Currens told. the <br />Council that bath appraisals from two independent appraisers came back at $39,000. A <br />motion was m. ode by Councilman Bryant, second by Counciltr-an Do1en to set the <br />damages at $39,000. Motion carried 4-0. Nonce will be given to the affected property <br />owners and a remonstrance hearing was set for April 6, 2004. <br />__. <br />
