<br />Redevelopment Commission is going to help with that project they cotild have someone <br />else do it, if Joe is too busy. <br />park Superintendent, Brent Callahan provided the council with some information on <br />Phase 3 of the walking trail. <br />primal Control Officer, Mark Taylor reported 1G (sixteen) calls, 4 (four) impounds and 2 <br />(two) returns. <br />President Warthen told the council that they have two appointments to The Morgan <br />County Economic Development Board for a term of one ~ w -atfhas taken placte over~the <br />appoint Mark MathYS to the board due to his knowledge o. <br />last few years and his part in helping create the county-wide program. Councilman <br />Bryant stated that he thought it would not be appropriate to appoint Mark due to his <br />decision to back the rezone of the property south on 67 for Springhill Christian Ministries <br />to build a church. He stated that he and Helen Humes believe that that will be an obsti<acle <br />in alluring other businesses to come to that area. Councilman Shields stated that while <br />that took place before he took office he does not believe that one person could be <br />responsible for the rezone being passed. A motion was made by Councilman Dolen, <br />second by Councilman Clark to appoint Maxk Mathis and Tom Warthen to the two <br />positions on The Morgan County Economic Development Board. Motion carried 4-1. <br />Councilman Bryant opposed. <br />President Warthen stated that at the next meeting on March l6, 2004 they would discuss <br />the annexation of the Ray Young subdivision and look at the letters from the <br />homeowxters. The Clerk/Treasurer's office will tally those up and give the council a <br />running list of how many letters have been received. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Dolen to approve the <br />claims. Hall. <br />Council members present were: President Tom Warthen, Troy Bryant, John L. Clark, <br />Toby Dolen, and Eric Shields. No members were absent. Town attorney Tim Currens <br />was also present. <br />President Warthen gave the prayer. <br />
