~ 7. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Bryant with a second by Councilman Dolen to <br />approve tlae job description for Utility Department Supervisor. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Motion. carried 5-0. The council discussed advertising for the position with a deadline for <br />applications to be in by end of May. The applicant must be computer literate. and have a <br />CDL license or the ability to obtain one within six months. Applications are to be to the <br />attention of Tom Worthen and John L. Clark. Then there will be an executive session to <br />interview those applicants that qualify. <br />A motion was made by Councilman. Clark with a second by Councilman Shields to <br />approve Declaratory Resolution 4, 2004 for Capital Adhesives Tax Abatement. Motion <br />carried 5-0_ <br />At the next meeting a smaller vacuum unit to pull behind a truck .for cleaning storm <br />sewers will be discussed. <br />Animal Control Ofbcer, Mark Taylor, reported twehty-two (22) calls, eight {S) <br />impounds, and one (1) returned. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Bryant to <br />approve payment of the claims. Motion carried 5-0. <br />The next meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at <br />6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br />There being no further business to come before the council at dais time, a motion was <br />made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Shields to adjourn the <br />meeting. Perry, Clerk-Treasurer <br />May 4, 2004 <br />The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at 6:30 <br />P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br />Council members present were: President Tom Worthen, Troy Bryant, John L. Clark, <br />and Eric Shields. Toby Dolen was absent. Town attorney Tim Currens was present. <br />Council President Tom Worthen gave the invocation. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Shields to <br />approve the minutes of Apri120, 2004_ Motion carried 4-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Bryant to <br />approve Ordinance #S, 2004, for the annexation of Adams~VanWinkle property. Motion <br />carried 4-0. <br />Mr. Nance from Boyd Heights spoke to the council about the sewer project for Boyd <br />Heights. Mr. Nonce's complaint was that in his opinion there had been a lack of <br />communication between. the Town Council and the residents. Mr. Nance told the council <br />his septic could fail because of the excavation and wanted to know who would be at fault. <br />Town attorney Tim Currens said it would not be the Town because they would be on an <br />easement. Councilman Bryant explained there was an overwheltning majority on <br />Meadow Lane that wanted annexation, but on Highway 144 side there was not. This yeah <br />some more residents have agreed to annexation and the thought was to put the lines in orr <br />Meadow Lane and leave a stub out for the others. Mr. Nance wants the council to <br />
