. l~.~ el tJ <br />Bruce Vaultman, representing Marathon Corp. requested a street cut permit for a <br />monitoring well at 400 South Indiana Street where the old Marathon Gas Station was <br />located next to Hardees. He told the council there were wells on the west side of the <br />street but not on the east side. He said the street cut would go straight dawn, not bore <br />under the street. A motion was made by Councilman Mathis, second by Councilman <br />Clark to approve the street cut. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Un-finished business: Councilman Bryant reported to the council he had two more <br />people to talk to in Boyd Heights Addition and that he has over 75%a agreed to <br />annexation. <br />Dr. Wright, President of the Mooresville Park Board, appeared before the council to <br />request Food and Beverage money for phase #2, paving the upper part of the pazk trails <br />and in front of Pioneer Park. They requested $37,668.60. Councilman Mathis told the <br />council he had gotten Wallace Construction Co. to receive 60%a right now and wait until <br />' October for the other 40%. A motion was made by Councilman Warthen, second by <br />Councilman Clark to approve the request. Motion carried S-0. <br />Larry Long appeared before the council to request a rezone for his property at 32 East <br />High Street from R-1 to B-1. The Plan Commission had recommended to the Town <br />Council to approve the rezone by a vote of $-0. A motion was made by Councilman <br />Clazk, second by Councilman Bryant to approve the re-zone. Motion carried S-0. <br />Mark Taylor, Animal Control Officer, reported eighteen (18) calls, nine (9) impounds, <br />and six (6) returned. <br />A motion was made by Counciman Warthen, second by Councilman Clark to approve <br />payment of the claims. Motion carried 5-0. <br />There being no further business to come before the council. at this time, a motion was <br />made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Bryant to adjourn the meeting. <br />Motion carried 5-~0. <br />The next regulaz meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be on Tuesday, June 17, <br />2003, at 6:30' PM at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br />h <br />Toby Doren, ident <br />ATTEST: -- <br />r.'- <br />Sandra R. John L. <br />Clark and Troy Bryant were absent. Town attorney Tim Currens was present. <br />Rev. LeRoy Pickering, First Baptist Church, gave the prayer. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Mathis, second by. Counciliman Warthen, to approve the <br />minutes of the June 3, 2003 meeting. Motion carried 3-0. <br />
