The cost for curbs, sidewalks on both sides of street, sewer, storm <br />drains, and paying would be approximately $20,000.00: Mr. Heileman suggest parking on <br />one side of the street only and usually the side with the fire hydrants is the No Parking <br />side. Motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Warthen to <br />approve $20;000 for the improvements. Motion carried 4-0. The parking issues will be <br />tabled to the' August 19, 2003 meeting. <br />Animal Control Officer, Mark Taylor, reported 36 (thirty-six) calls, 21 (twenty-one) <br />impounds, and 15 (fifteen) returned. <br />Motian was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Warthen to approve <br />payment of ttae claims. Perry, Clerk-Treasurer <br />August 19, 2003 <br />The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, August 19, 2003, at <br />6:30 P.M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br />Town Council members present were: President Toby Dolen, John L. Clark, Mark <br />Mathis, and Troy Bryant. Torn Warthen was absent. Town attorney Tim Currens was <br />present. <br />Steve Luther of The Community Church of Mooresville gave the prayer. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Bryant to approve the <br />minutes of August S, 2003. Motion carried 4-0. <br />Al Hornaday was on the agenda far hook-on of the Brown Township trustee's office to <br />the sewer. He could nvt attend the meeting but sent a letter asking to hook on and for the <br />fees to be waived. Councilman Bryant asked Joe Heileman, Street Commissioner, if it <br />would be better for him to hook on next to Nice-Pale's drive or to go across the field to <br />Bridge Street. Mr. Heileman thought next to Nice-Pak. would be easier but said either <br />way was possible. Councilman Mathis made a motion to approve the hook-on subject to <br />annexation but said the fees would have to be paid. Councilman Clark seconded. Motion <br />carried 4-0. <br />
