The street has <br /> collapsed once and they foresee it happening again. The developer developed in a swamp and <br /> put tiles in for drainage. They would like suggestions on what can be done. A stream of water <br /> comes off of Morgan Street to them. Kathryn Beasley had the survey of her property but <br /> Attorney Currens wants to see the records down at the County. <br /> Attorney Currens had copies of proposed 1-69 plan for the council to review and approve at <br /> another meeting. <br /> Animal Control Officer, Mark Taylor, reported twenty(20) calls, seven(7) impounds, and five <br /> (5)returned. <br /> Councilman Clark made a motion with a second by Councilman Langley to approve payment of <br /> the claims. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Town Council a motion was <br /> made by Councilman Cook with a second by Councilman Clark to adjourn the meeting. Clark, Ryan Goodwin, and _ <br /> Tony Langley. Council 'resident Mark Harris was absent. Town attorney Tim Curren was <br /> present. <br /> Jinn Taylor, Grace Church, gave the invocation. <br /> A motion,.was made by.Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Langley to approve <br /> minutes of the August 18, 2009 meeting. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> This was the Pre-Adoption hearing for the 2010 budget. There were no questions from the <br /> audience or the council at this time. Final 2010 budget adoption will be Oct. 6, 2009, at 6:30 P. <br /> M. at the Mooresville Goverrunent Center. <br /> Next, was the street closing for Johnson and Hadley Roads for Habitat for Humanity 5K and 10 <br /> K run. Only a small portion is in the Town limits. A motion was made by Councilman Clark <br /> with a second by Councilman Goodwin to approve. Motion carried 4-0. The run is set for <br /> October 31, 2009. <br />
