'e920 Barb Perry, Circle Drive, said she has lived there for 38 years right next to the ditch.on North Indiana Street. She realizes the problem starts north and comes down to them. The street has collapsed once and they foresee it happening again. The developer developed in a swamp and put tiles in for drainage. They would like suggestions on what can be done. A stream of water comes off of Morgan Street to them. Kathryn Beasley had the survey of her property but Attorney Currens wants to see the records down at the County. Attorney Currens had copies of proposed 1-69 plan for the council to review and approve at another meeting. Animal Control Officer, Mark Taylor, reported twenty(20) calls, seven(7) impounds, and five (5)returned. Councilman Clark made a motion with a second by Councilman Langley to approve payment of the claims. Motion carried 4-0. There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Town Council a motion was made by Councilman Cook with a second by Councilman Clark to adjourn the meeting. Motion. carried unanimously. The next meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center. September 1, 2009 The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Govern rent Center. Council members present were: Vice President Jeff Cook, John L. Clark, Ryan Goodwin, and _ Tony Langley. Council 'resident Mark Harris was absent. Town attorney Tim Curren was present. Jinn Taylor, Grace Church, gave the invocation. A motion,.was made by.Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Langley to approve minutes of the August 18, 2009 meeting. Motion carried 4-0. This was the Pre-Adoption hearing for the 2010 budget. There were no questions from the audience or the council at this time. Final 2010 budget adoption will be Oct. 6, 2009, at 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Goverrunent Center. Next, was the street closing for Johnson and Hadley Roads for Habitat for Humanity 5K and 10 K run. Only a small portion is in the Town limits. A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Goodwin to approve. Motion carried 4-0. The run is set for October 31, 2009.
