He thinks he can get everything done in a two day week. The doctor released him strictly sitting at a desk until he returns to the doctor on August 26"'. The town will still be reimbursed by the workman's comp for days he doesn't work. A motion was made by Councilman Harris with a second by Councilman Clark to approve. Motion carried 3-0. Animal Control Officer, Mark Taylor, reported fourteen(14) calls, eleven(11) impounds, and ten(10)returned. A special meeting will be held Friday, August 6u', at 1:00 P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center, A motion to approve payment of the claims was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Harris to approve payment of the claims. Motion carried 3-0. There being no further business to come before the council at this time a motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Harris to adjourn the meeting. Perry, Clerk-Treasurer August 6, 2010 The Mooresville Town Council met in special session on Friday, August 6, 2010, at 1:00 P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center. Council members present were: President Ryan Goodwin, Tony Langley, John L. Clark, and Mark Harris. Councilman Jeff Cook was absent. Attorney Curren was present. Clerk-Treasurer Sandra Perry was present. A motion was made by Councilman Harris with a second by Councilman Clark to approve the minutes of August 3, 2010 meeting. Motion carried 4-0. The special meeting was called for the second reading of Ordinance#12, 2010 amending Bond Ordinance#10, 2009, for the wastewater treatment plant expansion. A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Langley to approve the ordinance. Motion carried 4-0. Attorney Currens reported that Chris Gale, HNTB had called him to say that the wastewater project would qualify for a green project. Mr. Currens wants an opinion from the council of what to tell Chris Gale when he calls back. Attorney Currens will get the figures ready and say council can't really act on this financially until they have the figures. The council consensus was for Tim Currens to do this. There being no further business to come before the council at this time a motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Clark to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 4-0.
