9.01 <br /> The speeds are high in front of Meadow Lake. Attorney Currens is looking into <br /> contiguity. <br /> Joe Beikman said he wants to get permission from the council to return to work. He <br /> thinks he can get everything done in a two day week. The doctor released him strictly <br /> sitting at a desk until he returns to the doctor on August 26"'. The town will still be <br /> reimbursed by the workman's comp for days he doesn't work. A motion was made by <br /> Councilman Harris with a second by Councilman Clark to approve. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> Animal Control Officer, Mark Taylor, reported fourteen(14) calls, eleven(11) impounds, <br /> and ten(10)returned. <br /> A special meeting will be held Friday, August 6u', at 1:00 P. M. at the Mooresville <br /> Government Center, <br /> A motion to approve payment of the claims was made by Councilman Clark with a <br /> second by Councilman Harris to approve payment of the claims. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> There being no further business to come before the council at this time a motion was <br /> made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Harris to adjourn the meeting. <br /> Motion carried 3-0. <br /> The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held on <br /> Tuesday, August 17t", 2010, at 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center. <br /> Council members present were: President Ryan Goodwin, Tony Langley, John L. Clark, <br /> and Mark Harris. Councilman Jeff Cook was absent. Attorney Curren was present. <br /> Clerk-Treasurer Sandra Perry was present. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Harris with a second by Councilman Clark to <br /> approve the minutes of August 3, 2010 meeting. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> The special meeting was called for the second reading of Ordinance#12, 2010 amending <br /> Bond Ordinance#10, 2009, for the wastewater treatment plant expansion. A motion was <br /> made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Langley to approve the <br /> ordinance. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> Attorney Currens reported that Chris Gale, HNTB had called him to say that the <br /> wastewater project would qualify for a green project. Mr. Currens wants an opinion <br /> from the council of what to tell Chris Gale when he calls back. Attorney Currens will get <br /> the figures ready and say council can't really act on this financially until they have the <br /> figures. The council consensus was for Tim Currens to do this. <br /> There being no further business to come before the council at this time a motion was <br /> made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Clark to adjourn the meeting. <br /> Motion carried 4-0. <br /> The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be on <br /> Tuesday, August 17, 2010, 6:30 P.
