MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br /> MINUTES <br /> SEPTEMBER 8, 2005 <br /> The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met on Thursday, September 8, 2005 at 6:00 <br /> P.M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> Members present were Jon Swisher, President, Don Barry, Alan Kramer and Charles <br /> McGuire. Mike Young was absent. Tim Currens, Town Attorney, was present. <br /> Motion to approve the minutes of the August 11, 2005 meeting was made by Don Barry, <br /> second by Charles McGuire. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> First on the agenda was Mary Hoffarth, 11256 N. Kitchen Road, requesting a variance to <br /> put a modular home next to her home. After Mr. Kramer finished checking the mailing <br /> list against the adjoining property owners he found that some of the property owners were <br /> not notified. Mr. Swisher, President, stated that the board could not continue with the <br /> petition until all the property owners were notified and asked for a motion to continue the <br /> petition until the October 13, 2005 meeting. She will need to send out notices only to the <br /> ones that were not notified. There will not be additional notices or newspaper notices. <br /> Motion to table Mary Hoffarth petition for a variance for a modular home at 11256 N. <br /> Kitchen Road to October 13, 2005 was made by Don Barry, second by Alan Kramer. <br /> Motion carried 4-0. <br /> Next Mr. Kramer stated that as the county gets more populated he felt the petitioner <br /> should have a copy of the Auditors plat map included in their applications for when they <br /> go to check the cards to see if all property owners were notified. Mr. Currens said that if <br /> the board wanted this added to their applications it could be added as part of the <br /> instructions. <br /> There being no further business to come before board a motion to adjourn was made by <br /> Charles McGuire, second by Alan Kramer. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> The next meeting of the Mooresville board of Zoning Appeals will be October 13, 2005 <br /> at 6:00 P.M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> President <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Secretary <br />
