6 <br /> The Brookmore rezone from R-1 to R-3 for lots 85, 86, and 87 was next: Chairman <br /> Young said that there was not to be a public hearing since it had already heard from the <br /> public. Commissioner Williamson motioned to open the hearing to the floor. Without a <br /> second to motion did not carry. Commissioner McGuire said that Lot 85, 86 and 87 were <br /> compatible with other zoning at Brookmore and would not be Spot zoning. <br /> Commissioner Ehrhart agreed with Commissioner McGuire. Commissioner McGuire <br /> motion to give the Town Council a favorable recommendation for the rezone of lots 85, <br /> 86 and 87 in the Brookmore Addition to R-3, the second was made by Commissioner <br /> Ehrhart. The vote was 4-1 with Commissioner Williamson voting no to the motion, a 5-0 <br /> vote was needed for the motion carried, Commissioner Williamson again motioned to <br /> reopen the hearing to the public, Commissioner Ehrhart seconded and the vote was 5-0 to <br /> reopen to the public. Chairman Young asked for any new evidence from the public. <br /> Jerome Witte came before the Commission with asked several questions and made <br /> several remarks. All of Mr. Wines (remarks and questions) are recorded for the public or <br /> Commissioners to review in the Clerk Treasurers Office. John Moore attorney for Mike <br /> Murphy owner of the 3 lots in question came forward. Mr. Moore said that when Mr. <br /> Murphy bought the lots they were told that the zoning was R-3. Mr. Murphy is asking for <br /> a favorable recommendation for the rezone to R-3. A motion was made by Commissioner <br /> McGuire and seconded by Commissioner Ehrhart to give a favorable recommendation to <br /> the Town Council for Brookmore lots 85, 86 and 87 to be rezoned from R-1 to R-3. the <br /> motion carried 5-0 with none opposed. This rezone will go to the Town Council for the <br /> September 18, 2007 meeting. <br /> Holiday dates and times for the November and December were set for the second <br /> Thursdays, the dates will be November 8, 2007 and December 13, 2007. <br /> Joe Beikman gave his report as 23 Permits and 64 Inspections. <br /> The meeting was adjourned after a motion from Commissioner Berwick, seconded by <br /> Commissioner Ehrhart. <br /> The next meeting will be September 27, 2007. <br /> Chairman: <br /> Secretary: <br />
