4 <br /> MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> THURSDAY DECEMBER 13, 2007 <br /> The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session on Thursday <br /> December 13, 2007 at 6 P.M. at the Mooresville Town Center. <br /> Commissioners present were: Chairman Mike Young, Commissioners: <br /> Darrell Brown, Charles Berwick, Charles McGuire and James Logan. <br /> Commissioners Ehrhart and Williamson were absent. Also attending was <br /> Town Attorney Tim Currens. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner McGuire to approve the minutes from <br /> the November 8, 2007 meeting with corrections, the second came from <br /> Commissioner Logan, the vote was 5-0 to approve with none opposed. <br /> The first item on the agenda was Stanley Butrum from 9342 N Old State Rd <br /> 67. Mr. Butrum said that he understood that Carter-Lee is planning to build. <br /> an addition and his concerns are the dust and the noise. Mr. Butrum said that <br /> he has had to call the Sheriff's Dept. because of a loud radio. Calcium <br /> Chloride was put down after much of the summer was over. The treatment <br /> has helped but not solved the problem. After more discussion it was decided <br /> that representatives from Carter Lee would be asked to come to the Jan. 24th <br /> meeting, to try to solve this problem. The letter that Mr. Butrum had sent to <br /> the Commission will be attached to the minutes. <br /> The next item on the agenda was Ross Holloway for Jim Remster asking for <br /> a 2 Lot Minor Plat at State Road 67 and 144. The parcel is approximately <br /> 4.7 acres. Lot 2 is the lot with the billboard on it, Lot one would be for <br /> future development with nothing planned at this time. Mr. Holloway <br /> explained that it would be better for marketing if the billboard be on a <br /> separate lot. Commissioner Brown questioned access to lot 2, Mr. Holloway <br /> said that it would be the 40 foot utility easement. Chairman Young said that <br /> the issue form the Tech. meeting was no set backs nor locations of flood <br /> plain. Mr. Holloway said that they can do that and showed on the plan, a <br />
