Mooresville Plan Commission Minutes <br /> Thursday, March 28th, 2013 <br /> The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session on Thursday, March 28`h, <br /> 2013 at 6:00pm at the Mooresville Government Center. <br /> Plan Commission members present: Pent' King, Darrell Brown, Mike Young, Jeff <br /> Dieterlen, Brian Anderson and town attorney Tim Currens. <br /> Members absent: Brian Moore, Beverly Viles, and Bill Colbert <br /> Commissioner Young called the meeting to order, Commissioner Brown made a <br /> motion to approve the minutes from the previous meeting, motion was seconded <br /> and passed unanimously. <br /> Attorney Bray introduced himself as representing Mr. and Mrs. Remstes R <br /> regarding <br /> arrding <br /> the filed special exception and rezone. Mr. Bray stated that Mr. and M <br /> are not necessarily interested or in need of the rezone if the special exception is not <br /> granted. Mr. Bray began to address the special exception of B2 to B3 at State Road <br /> 67 and State Road 144 and the parcels of land in question, <br /> directing the <br /> commission members to the maps previously filed and distributed. Mr. Bray as the <br /> that of the two parcels only one, the parcel not located on State Road 144, on the <br /> parcel intended for use. Mr. and Mrs. Remster would like to place a family r lob lithe <br /> State Road 67parcel. Mr. Bray explains that he and the <br /> Remster <br /> an auto dealership would fall into the master plan of Mo oresville. The car lot <br /> would be a small local business, rather than a larger industrial size company,explained <br /> which <br /> co insides with other business' along State Road 67. Mr. Bray further n auto <br /> that the shape of the lot limits its' potential usage, the traffic flow o <br /> dealership would be ideal as it would have steady traffic rather than high traffic <br /> points of a day such as early morning or early evening as with some b siness' (ex: <br /> daycare). Mr. Bray stated that he was willing to answer questions. The <br /> commissioners asked Mr. Bray if he was aware of a previous filfiling for this of the fame <br /> consideration had been made several years ago.
