FINDINGS OF FACT

RE:

George E. Carlisle
Janet W. Carlisle
31 E. High Street
Mooresville, Indiana

This matter came before the Mooresville Board of Zoning
Appeals on October 19, 1988, at the regularly scheduled meeting
date and time. The petition requested an expansion of their
current Special Exception, pursuant to Chapter 5(c) of the Special
Exception Procedures, in order to expand their current funeral
home structure. In addition, the Carlisles were asking for a

variance from the development standards
east side lot line from 12 feet to 3.6
feet in the other area, along with the
to 31.5 feet.

for the setbacks on the
feet and 12 feet to 6.6
front setback from 60 feet

The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals having heard evidence
on the above captioned petition now makes the following findings
of fact under the expansion of the Special Use pursuant to I.C.
36-7-4-9-18.5:

1. The establishment, maintenance and operation of the
Special Exception would not be detrimental to or endanger the
public health, safety, morals or general welfare, due to the
property sitting up on a hill and being away from other
residential uses sufficiently to buffer any problem.

2. That the Special Exception would not be injurious to the
use and enjoyment of other properties in the immediate vicinity
for the purposes already permitted due to the lay of the ground.
