113 8 <br /> April 29, 2014 <br /> The Mooresville Town Council met in Special Session on Tuesday,April 29, 2014,at 6:30 P. M. at the <br /> Mooresville Government Center. <br /> Town Council members present were: President Mark Mathis,Vice-President Virginia Perry,Tony <br /> Langley,George Watkins,and Jeff Cook. No members were absent. Town attorney Tim Currens was <br /> present. <br /> Mark Mathis gave the invocation. <br /> No approval of minutes. <br /> Public Hearing: for Confirmatory Resolutions for Mt. Olive and TOA. <br /> There were no comments from the public or the council. A motion was made by Councilman Watkins <br /> with a second by Councilwoman Perry to close the Public Hearing. Motion carried 4-0-1. Tony Langley <br /> abstained. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Watkins with a second by Councilman Langley to approve <br /> Confirmatory Resolutions#7 and#8 for TOA, USA abatement for 10 years. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Watkins with a second by Councilwoman Perry to approve <br /> Resolution #6, 2014 for Mt. Olive, Olive Oak for a six year abatement. Motion carried 4-1-0. <br /> Councilman Langley abstained. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilwoman Perry to approve the <br /> settlement offer of 9.5 million for the purchase of Indiana American Water Company. Motion carried 4- <br /> 1. Councilman Watkins opposed. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilman Watkins to approve payment <br /> of the claims. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> There being no further business to come before the council, a motion was made by Councilman Watkins <br /> with a second by Councilman Cook to adjourn the meeting. <br /> The next Town Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at 6:30 P.
