<br />I <br /> <br />Certification of Local Public Question to <br />Morgan County Election Board <br /> <br />Comes now the Civil Town of Mooresville and pursuant to Resolution 2, 1996, a copy <br /> <br />of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "A", a "Resolution for the <br /> <br />Abolition of the Office of the Town Marshall" and certifies the following public question <br /> <br />pursuant to IC 3-10-9-3 as a public question to be placed on the general election ballot to be held <br /> <br />November 5, 1996 pursuant to the statutory authorization for this public question pursuant to IC <br /> <br />36-8-9-2 "Establishment of Board of Metropolitan Police Commissioners". That the form of the <br /> <br />public question by statute to be placed on the ballot is as follows: <br /> <br />"Shall a Board of Metropolitan Police Commissioners be established and the <br /> <br />office of Town Marshall be abolished?". <br /> <br />Yes <br /> <br />No <br /> <br />This question should be certified and placed on the ballot of the General Election for the <br /> <br />residents of the Civil Town of Mooresville to be held November 5, 1996. <br /> <br />The Town of Mooresville, pursuant to the attached Resolution, requests that this matter <br /> <br />be certified and placed on the ballot, this matter being filed timely pursuant to IC 3-10-9-3. <br /> <br />The Civil Town of Mooresville <br /> <br />by <br />Sandra Perry, Clerk/Treasurer <br /> <br />
