I ORDINANCE tl-, 1983 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CIVIL TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, INDIANA APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS TO BE APPLIED ON THE COST OF CONSTRUCTION AND RECONSTRUCTION OF INDIANAPOLIS ROAD AND ~~IN STREET TOGETHER WITH THE APPLICATION OF ASPHALT TO THE FOLLOWING ROADS: FAIRLANE DRIVE, WESTBROOK DRIVE, CRESTWOOD DRIVE, WEST WASHINGTON STREET, WEST SOUTH STREET, BRIDGE STREET, CENTER LANE, ST. CLAIR STREET, GREENWOOD DRIVE AND CHURCH STREET, TOGETHER WITH THE INCIDENTAL EXPENSES IN CONNECTION THEREWITH AND ON ACCOUNT OF THE GOING INTO DEBT OF THE AFOREMENTIONED PROJECT. WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees now finds that it is necessary to provide for the above named project and further that the Town of Mooresville has no funds available for such project nor provided for in the budget, making it necessary to authorize the issuance of bonds or the Town going into debt to procure the required funds with a loan; and WHEREAS, a petition has been filed by owners of taxable real estate in the Town of Mooresville requesting the Board of Trustees to authorize the issuance of bonds of the Civil Town of Mooresville for the purpose of procuring funds or in the alternative the town going into debt by obtaining a loan to be applied on the cost of construction and reconstruction of Indianapolis Road and Main Street together with the application of asphalt to the following roads: Fairlane Drive, Westbrook Drive, Crestwood Drive, West Washington Street, West South Street, Bridge Street, Center Lane, St. Clair Street, Greenwood Drive and Church Street, together with the incidental expenses in connection therewith and on account of the issuance of bonds or going into debt therefore, which petition the Town Board finds to be in due form properly verified by signers thereof, and certified by the Auditor of Morgan County as being signed by more than 50 owners of taxable real estate in the Civil Town of Mooresville; that said petition in all ways conforms to the requirements of the provisions of Indiana Code 6-1.1-20-3; and WHEREAS, the Town Board of Trustees now finds that the Civil Town of Mooresville has no funds available or provided for in the budget and tax levee which may be applied on said project, and that a necessity exists for the making of additional appropriation hereinafter set out; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CIVIL TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, INDIANA: SECTION I That the sum of One Hundred and Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the proceeds of the bonds or loan designated as (municipal bond 1983), or from the loan agreement heretofore authorized to be
