Sidewalks <br /> <br />(a) To be replaced to minimum depth of four (4 ) inches <br /> or to depth of existing walk whichever is greater. <br />(b) 3500 pound portland concrete to be used on all <br /> <br />sidewalk reconstruction. <br /> <br />3. Curbs <br /> <br />(a) To be replaced with curbs six (6) inches wide and to <br /> <br />heights of existing curb with eight (8) inches of <br /> <br />curb to extend below surface of the road. <br /> <br />(b) 3500 pound portland concrete to be used on all curb <br /> <br />reconstruction. <br /> <br />4. Public Streets and Alleys <br /> <br />(a) The reconstruction used shall be based upon the surface <br /> <br />of the street or alley existing at the time of the <br /> <br />reconstruction. <br /> <br />(i) Concrete Specifications <br /> (aa) Granular fill to be used within eighteen <br /> (18) inches of the top; <br /> (bb) Fill to grade with number 53 crushed stone. <br /> (cc) Eight (8) inches of Five Thousand (5000 ) <br /> <br />pound portland concrete <br /> <br />(ii) Asphalt Specifications <br />(aa) Granular fill to be used within eighteen <br />(18) inches of the top; <br />(bb) Fill to grade with number 53 crushed stone; <br /> <br />(cc) Twelve (12) inches of hot asphalt compacted <br /> <br />in three lifts. <br /> <br />(iii) Stone Specifications <br />(aa) Granular fill to be used within eighteen <br />(18) inches of the top. <br />(bb) Fill to Grade with eighteen (18) inches of <br />Number 53 crushed stone. <br />
