<br />I <br /> <br />/, <br />ORDINANCE NO, ~ <br /> <br />, 1982 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN AlffiNDED SCHEDULE OF RATES AND <br />CLASSIFICATIONS OF RATES AND CHARGES TO BE COLLECTED BY THE <br />TOWN OF MOORESVILI.E, INDJ ANA, FROH THE OWNERS OF PROPERTIES <br />SERVED BY THE SEWAGE TREATMENT WORKS OF THE TOWN OF <br />MOORESVILLE, INDIANA, AND OTHER HATTERS CONNECTED THEREWITH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the TOHn of Mooresville, Indiana, has heretofore <br /> <br />constructed and has in operation, a sewage treatment works system <br /> <br />for the purpose of collecUng sewage and conveying the same aW8Y <br /> <br />from the premises where produced; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the revenues presently received from the existing <br /> <br />schedule of rates and charges, collected by the Town of Hooresvi lIe <br /> <br />have been found to be insufficient by a det8iled rate study and <br /> <br />analysis made by H, .1. Umbaußh & Associates, certified public account8nts <br /> <br />in order for the said utility to pay principal and interest on the <br /> <br />revenue bonds now outst8nding and to meet the current levels of costs, <br /> <br />operation and maintenance of said sewage treatment works, the Board <br /> <br />of Trustees of the Town of Hooresville, Indiana, no",' find that the <br /> <br />rates and charßes t:o be collected for the use of and service rendered <br /> <br />by such sewage treatment works be fixed by an amended ordinance, <br /> <br />finally adopted after due notice and plilili¿ hearing, and authorizes <br /> <br />the collection of rates, charges, so as to produce sufficient revenue <br /> <br />to pay all the legal and other necessary expense incident to the <br /> <br />operation of the sewage treatment: works system, including maintenance <br /> <br />costs, operating charges, upkeep, repairs, interest charges on bonds <br /> <br />or other obligations; to provide a sinking fund for liquidation of <br /> <br />present bonds, and bonds to he issued for the expansion of the sewage <br /> <br />treatment works, or other evidences of indebtedness; and reserves <br /> <br />against the default in the payment of interest and principal bonds; <br /> <br />to provide adequate funds to be used as working capital, as well as <br /> <br />funds for making improvements, additions, extensions and replacements, <br /> <br />it being the intent and purpciJse thereof that such rates and cha,rges <br />shall produce sufficient and equitable income sufficient to maintain <br />the sewage treatment works in a sound physical and financial condition, <br /> <br />to render adequate and efficient service, now, therefore, <br /> <br />" <br />
