<br />r <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />the event it is not so elevated, it shall be constructed and <br /> <br />certified together with attendant utility and sanitary facil- <br /> <br />ities are: <br /> <br />i. Flood proofed, so that below <br /> <br />a point at least two feet above the base <br /> <br />flood level, the structure is water tight, <br /> <br />with walls substantially impermeable to <br /> <br />the passage of water; <br /> <br />ii. Having structural components <br /> <br />capable of resisting hydrostatic and hydro- <br /> <br />dynamic loads and the effects of buoyance; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />iii. Be certified by a registered <br /> <br />professional engineer or architect that <br /> <br />the standards of this sub-section are <br /> <br />satisfied. Such certification shall be <br /> <br />provided to the official as set forth in <br /> <br />Article IV <br /> <br />B. Mobile Homes: <br /> <br />1. Mobile homes shall be anchored in <br /> <br />accordance with Article VI., Section I, paragraph 2 for new <br /> <br />mobile home parks and mobile home subdivisions, for expansions <br /> <br />to existing mobile home parks and mobile home subdivisions; <br /> <br />for existing mobile home parks and mobile home subdivisions, <br /> <br />where the repair, reconstruction and improvements of the <br /> <br />streets, utilities and pads equal or exceed fifty percent <br /> <br />(50%) of the value of the streets, utilities and pads before <br /> <br />repair, reconstruction or improvement has commenced; and for <br /> <br />mobile homes not placed in the mobile home parks or mobile <br /> <br />home subdivision, require that: <br /> <br />i. Stands or lots are elevated <br /> <br />on compacted fill or pilings, so that the <br /> <br />pad of the mobile home will be at or above <br /> <br />the base flood level; <br /> <br />ii. Adequate surface drainage <br /> <br />and access for a hauler are provided; and <br /> <br />-17- <br /> <br />--- <br />
