<br />- <br /> <br />.,../ <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />~,:h· <br /> <br />~ <br />1.....' <br /> <br />r <br />'- <br /> <br />; <br /> <br />t <br />,\' <br />"'0< <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO, ~ <br />TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, <br /> <br />1976 <br /> <br />INDIANA <br /> <br />SUBDIVISION CONTROL ORDINANCE <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, <br />INDIANA, ADOPTING THE FOLLOWING SUBDIVISION CONTROL ORDINANCE AS A PART <br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, INDIANA WHICH PROVIDES <br />FOR THE CONTROL OF LAND SUBDIVISION AND THE APPROVAL OF PLATS AND RE- <br />PLATS WITHIN THE JURISDICTION OF MOORESVILLE TOWN PLAN COMMISSION, <br />ACCORDING TO AUTHORITY GRANTED BY ENABLING LEGISLATION OF THE GENERAL <br />ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF INDIANA, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 174 of the Acts of the General Assembly of the State <br />of Indiana, and all acts amendatory or supplemental thereto, grants <br />that the Board of Trustees of a Civil Town in conjunction with its <br />Plan Commission may prepare a Master Plan for the development of a <br />town; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such Master plan is designed to assure the promotion of public <br />health, safety, moral, convenience, order and general welfare! for the <br />sake of efficiency and economy in the process of development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS! the Civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana, in conjunction with <br />its Plan Commission may include as a part of such plan, provisions for <br />the control of the subdivision of land and approval of plats and re- <br />plats; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such provisions are essential to the orderly and proper devel- <br />opment of the Civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN <br />OF MOORESVILLE, INDIANA, THAT THE FOLLOWING SUBDIVISION CONTROL ORDIN- <br />ANCE BE ENACTED: <br /> <br />ARTICLE 1. <br /> <br />ESTABLISHMENT OF CONTROL. <br /> <br />No plat or replat of a subdivision of land located within the jurisdic- <br />tion of the Mooresville Plan Commission shall be recorded until it <br />shall have been approved by such Commission, and such approval shall <br />have been entered in writing on the plat by the President and Secretary <br />of the Commission, <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2. <br /> <br />DEFINITIONS, <br /> <br />ALLEY.
