<br />, , <br />, <br />w <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />, 1975 <br /> <br />WEIGHT CONTROL ORDINANCE <br />OF THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, INDIANA, ON HARLAN DRIVE <br /> <br />~. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Trustees of the Town of <br /> <br />Mooresville, Indiana, that: <br /> <br />By the powers vested in said Board of Trustees of the <br /> <br />civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana, by the Acts of the General <br /> <br />Assembly of the state of Indiana, it is hereby ordered and ordained <br /> <br />that whereas it is necessary to adequately maintain and preserve the <br /> <br />condition of a street, commonly known as Harlan Drive, located in the <br /> <br />Town of Mooresville, Indiana, which street runs in a northerly and <br /> <br />southerly direction between Bridge street and Old state Road 67, by <br /> <br />designating that certain motor vehicles of a determined weight may <br /> <br />not be used on said streets, and that it is in the best interest that <br /> <br />a weight control ordinance therefore be adopted, regulating heavy <br /> <br />vehicular traffic in or upon said Harlan Drive in the Town of Moores- <br /> <br />ville, Indiana. <br /> <br />section I: <br /> <br />It is hereby ORDERED AND ORDAINED that no motor vehicle <br /> <br />shall operate upon the said Harlan Drive when the total gross weight <br />with load, in pounds of any vehicle or combination of vehicles, shall <br /> <br />exceed Ten Thousand (10,000) pounds and where on said Harlan Drive <br /> <br />the weight of such motor vehicles permitted on such street as limited <br /> <br />by this ordinance are posted with appropriate signs indicating such <br /> <br />limitations except for the purpose of making delivery or picking up <br /> <br />a load to a resident or occupant of a business or residential dwelling <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />on said street, in which case, such motor vehicle may be driven on <br /> <br />such Harlan Drive for no more than the minimum distance necessary <br /> <br />for that purpose. <br /> <br />, <br />
