TOWN OF MOORESVILLE <br />SALARY ORDINANCE NO. 1 {) , 2001 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE ANNUAL COMPENSATION OF THE <br />OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE C1WIL TOWN OF MOOKESVII.I.E, <br />INDIANA FOR ~ YEAR 2002. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Council of the civil town of Mooresvtll¢, Morgan county, State <br />of Indiana, that: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the elected officials and employees for the Civil To,aaa of MoorasMll¢, Indiana, are <br />entitled to a salary, wage and Annual compensmion; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the compensation of the employees of said Civil Town of Mooress411e shall be <br />frxed by an Ordinance passed by the Town Council of the Civil Town of Mooresville; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the compensation of such officials and employees may be ehangeA by Ordinance of <br />the Town Council as conditions and circumstances require; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Civil Town of <br />Moomsville, Indiana, that the salaries and wages for the following named employees of the <br />Town of Mooresville for the year 2002 starting with the paycheck dated January 15, 2002 thru <br />payeaheek dated Deeeanber 31, 2002 shall henceforth be as s~ out halex< <br /> <br />S~:ion I. <br /> <br />The followhlg salaries and wages shall be paid from the General Fund: <br /> <br /> Police Chief- the salary of $42,678.00 per year plus longevity if applicable, plus encumbered <br />money in the mount of $1,586.53for Jan 2, 2002 paycheck, and as the administrative Officer <br />and Executive of thc Department shall not be entitled to overtime but instead shall receive time <br />off atthe raxe of I ¼ to 1, for every hour in excess of 40 hours work he shall receive 1 V: hours <br />time offfor eompeusation~ The Police Chief shall have benefit of 11.00 % of yearly salary paid <br />by the town to PERS. The office of Captain as an assistant administrative Officer s~ll notbe <br />entitled to overtime but instead shall receive time offat the ra~e of I ~ to 1, for every hour in <br />excess of 40 hours work he shall receive 1 1/g hours time offfor eoml:ensation. <br /> Captain - $37,0¢0.00 per year plus longevity if applicable, plus encumbered money in the <br />mount o£$1,384.61 for Jan 2, 2002 paycheck <br /> Lieutenant- $32,500.00 per year plus longevity if applicable, plus encumbered money in the <br /> <br /> <br />
