The Petition for the designation as an Economic <br />Revitalization Area requests a ten (10) year deduction from the <br />assessed value of real property and a ten (10) year deduction <br />from the assessed valuation of new manufacturing equipment and <br />the Mooresville Town Council now finds that it is in the best <br />interest of the public to grant Carter-Lee Lumber Company, Inc. a <br />ten (10) year period of the deduction of real property and a ten <br />(10) year period of deduction of new manufacturing equipment as <br />subsequently approved by the governing body under the law and <br />procedure for designations of economic revitalization areas <br />because of the substantial size of investment in the expansion of <br />the existing plant and the numbers of projected employees <br />anticipated along with maintaining the existing employees. <br /> <br /> These Findings of Fact are dated this 4th day of December, <br /> <br /> 2001. <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE TOWN COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
