Ordinance 3 ,2019 <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF <br />ELECTED OFFICIALS, OFFICERS, BOARD AND COMMISSION <br />MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE <br />Whereas, the Town Council for the Town of Mooresville is responsible for setting the <br />compensation for its Elected Officials, Officers, Board and Commission Members and <br />Employees for the year 2020. <br />BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED that the following represents the Salary Ordinance for the <br />Town of Mooresville for the year 2020 to be paid as follows: <br />SECTION 1. MOORESVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />Paid from General Fund <br />Police Chief <br />Captain <br />Lieutenant 3 <br />Sergeant 3 <br />Patrolman <br />Rate of Pay (to be paid in equal bi-weekly <br />increments for salary and rate of pay by <br />hourly pay periods bi-weekly) <br />$2,283.07 <br />2,064.69 <br />23.65 per hour <br />22.87 per hour <br />22.17 per hour <br />Probationary Patrolman 21.69 per hour <br />Narcotic & Juvenile Detective 1 22.41 per hour <br />($500 additional pay pro -rated over 26 pay periods or applicable number of pay periods <br />for officer named as Second Detective) <br />Communications Officers <br />Part -Time Communications Officers <br />Dispatchers in training (part-time) <br />Office Clerk <br />Administrative Clerk <br />Police Commission Board Members <br />Clothing allowance (police officers) <br />20.59 per hour <br />15.00 per hour <br />10.00 per hour <br />20.78 per hour <br />20.78 per hour <br />50.00 for each meeting attended <br />500.00 per year per officer <br />In addition to the above salaries, officers on the second shift shall receive an additional <br />$.25 per hour and officers on the third shift shall receive an additional $.50 per hour. <br />
