SECTION 3.7 <br />V. FEES <br /> <br />Improvement Location <br /> Permit Fee <br /> <br />I SIGN I $50 I <br /> <br />Fees are due at the time of applying for the Improvement Location Permit and should be <br />paid at the Mooresville Town Hall, 26 South Indiana Street, at the office of the Clerk- <br />Treasurer. Failure to comply with this section shall result in a fine of not less than $25.00 <br />nor greater than $250.00 with violations to be filed by the Building Inspector in the <br />Mooresville Town Court. Violations may also be treated the same as any other violation <br />of this zoning ordinance and can be enforced by any discretion of the Plan Commission. <br /> <br />SECTION 3-8 <br /> OUTLINE OF PROPOSED BUFFER REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />I. DEFINITION <br /> <br />A buffer is any physical barrier, whether naturally occurring or man-made, that has the <br />year-round effect of protecting one land use by mitigating the potentially negative effects <br />of another. <br /> <br />A protected use is any land use which needs to be protected from potentially negative <br />effects of another use. <br /> <br />An intruding use is any land use which needs to provide buffering to mitigate potentially <br />negative effects it may have on another use. <br /> <br />II. REASONS FOR BUFFERS <br /> <br />1. visual appearance, <br />2. noise level, <br />3. odor and <br />4. public health and safety, <br />5. density. <br /> <br />Minimum buffering requirements in terms of distance are described on the following <br />chart. These distances shall be applied to all incompatible adjacent land uses as noted. <br /> <br />54. <br /> <br /> <br />
