2. Advertising structures are not permitted. <br /> <br />Shopping Centers or multi-business structures shall be allowed one multi-listing <br />sign consisting ora directory sign for each business no greater than 2 feet by 4 <br />feet per business (or 8 square feet per business), plus space for center structure, <br />no greater than 32 square feet and no higher than 40 feet in a B3 or I <br />classification. <br /> <br />C. B3, B4, I1, I2 and 13 Districts <br /> <br />1. Signs shall be permitted in these districts subject to the conditions of subsection <br /> III. A. B. of this section. In addition, the following conditions shall apply: <br /> <br />A maximum of three freed signs shall be permitted. Additionally, a maximum <br />of one freestanding sign per acre shall be permitted. The signs may be lighted. <br />The total area for all signs measured in square feet shall not exceed two times <br />the total building frontage measured in lineal feet. <br /> <br />Small vertical directional signs not to exceed 6 square feet in area may be <br />attached to a building structure to aid customers and suppliers in locating garage <br />entrances, delivery points, etc. No Improvement Location Permit shall be <br />required for such signs. <br /> <br />"For Rent" and ''For Sale" signs shall be permitted. Not more than two such <br />signs not exceeding 24 square feet per sign shall be permitted on any lot, <br />building or occupancy. No Improvement Location Permit shall be required for <br />such signs. <br /> <br />Up to 30 days of temporary signage for the purpose of advertising a special <br />event, such as a "Grand Opening," or for the purpose of advertising until a <br />permanent sign is erected shall be permitted annually per business operator. No <br />Improvement Location Permit shall be required for such temporary signs. <br /> <br />2. Advertising structures are permitted. <br /> <br />D.
