<br />9. Where such parking area abutts another property, <br />there shall be a concrete curb or barrier, not less than 6 <br />inches in height, securely installed and maintained as a <br />safeguard to abutting properties or public rights-of-way. <br />The ba~rier shall be not less than 3 feet from any property <br />line on the subject property. <br /> <br />10. Where such parking area abutts a residential <br />district, there shall be a border of ap~ropriate landscaping, <br />includin~ fencing, not less the 5 feet ~n along the <br />resident~al boundary. Such landscaping shall be maintained <br />in good condition. Landscaping shall be designed to prevent <br />nuisance from lights or noise to abutting properties and <br />shall be approved by the Commission. <br /> <br />11. Lighting, where provided to illuminate such parking <br />areas, shall be hooded and so arranged so as not to cause a <br />nuisance to traffic on adjacent thoroughfares or properties. <br /> <br />12. In no case shall parking spaces be so arranged that <br />ingress and egress from a parking space requires backing into <br />a public or private pedestrian access way, or from a public <br />alley. <br /> <br />13. In no case shall any property owner cause a <br />condition to exist due to the use of his property that will <br />create a traffic condition to occur that will be dangerous to <br />the public safety within the ~ublic rights-of-way or <br />interfere with the use and enJoyment of surround~ng <br />properties. <br /> <br />14. In a platted subdivision recorded in the office of <br />the Morgan County Recorder, or in a multi-family apartment <br />development, no parking of commercial vehicles of over one <br />and one-half tons capacity shall be allowed. <br /> <br />Table 4a. <br /> <br />Residential Parking Requirements Per Dwelling unit <br /> <br />NOTES: <br /> <br />1.
