<br />MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />December 27, 1973 <br /> <br />The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met at a called <br />meeting on Thursday, December 27, 1973 at 7:30 P.M. The <br />following Board members were present: Winston Tackitt, David <br />Loudermilk, Eweather Stephens and William Roberson. The <br />Board's attorney, David E. Lawson was also present. <br /> <br />The purpose of the meeting was to hear the filed petition <br />of Alphons C. Eberhardt and Nancy M. Eberhardt which case was <br />docketed as number 2, 1973. <br /> <br />The attorney for the Board indicated that the petition <br />and accompanying papers consisting of the publication and <br />notice to adjoining land owners with certified return receipts <br />was in order. <br /> <br />The petitioners were <br />of Mooresville, Indiana. <br />through petitioner, Nancy <br /> <br />represented by Attorney Steve <br />Evidence was presented by Mr. <br />M. Eberhardt. <br /> <br />Harris <br />Harris <br /> <br />No interested citizens appeared either in favor of or <br />against the petitions. <br /> <br />__ The pertt~olar real estate in question, the same being lot <br />number 7 in Hadley's First Addition to Mooresville, Indiana is <br />a non-conforming use under the present zoning ordinance and that <br />a TV repair shop is and has been in existence prior to the adoption <br />of the present zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />The variance requests an expansion of the non-conforming use <br />for the operation of a beauty shop within the confines of the <br />present building; half of the building is to be used for the <br />existing TV repair shop and the other half of a two-chair beauty <br />shop. <br /> <br />The Board having heard the evidence a motion was duly made <br />by David Loudermilk, seconded by Bill Roberson that the variance <br />for the expansion of the non-conforming use as indicated above <br />be granted. The motion was duly passed by unanimous vote of the <br />four Board members present. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, <br />upon motion duly made the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />President, Board of Zoning <br />Appeals <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />Acting Secretary <br />
