<br />MINUTES OF MOORESVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> <br />October 14, 1968 <br />7:30 PM <br />Town Hall <br /> <br />Members present: Dale Hese1man, Bob Johnson, John Crose, Dave <br />Loudermilk, andGeorge Worland, Chairman. Mr. Bill Fisher, attorney was also <br />presen t. <br /> <br />There was preliminary discussion to the proposal presented by <br />Ralph Storm for the zoning of adjacent property to that already zoned commercial, <br />that is from 1A to 2B, south of Dairy Queen at the northeast corner of South <br />Indiana and South Sts. for the erection of a 9,500 - 12,00 sq. ft. grovery <br />store by the A & P Tea Co. This involved a plot 200 ft. by 200 ft. <br /> <br />Bob Dunn was wanting preliminary approval of plans involving two <br />price ranges of residences, a church, apartment houses, nursing home, and light <br />industry by annexation of land in Hendricks County. He stated he would appear <br />before the town board on Oct. 15 requesting the annexation of the property. <br />Mr. Hese1man mad the motion to present the annexation proposal to the town board. <br />This was seconded by Bob Johnson and it earned. <br /> <br />The Ohio Oil Company has petitioned for a hearing requesting rezoning <br />of the southwest corner property af North Indiana and Washington Sts. from 1A to <br />2B for the erection of a Marathon Oil Service Station on that location. The hearing <br />for this was set for Nov. 11, 1968. <br /> <br />The Wake-Up Oil Company requested rezoning of a lot owned by them <br />adjacent to their station at East Washington and Indianapolis Road. This <br />property is just west of their present station. This would be from 1A to 2B. <br />The house exsisting on the property now would be removed. The hearing date <br />for this was also set for Nov. 11, 1968. <br /> <br />It was mentioned that a DemocnattK member of the plan commission <br />was needed. The floor was then open for recommendations. <br /> <br />Dale Hese1man then moved for adjournment.
