They wish to complete as <br /> originally designed. This a variance to height over 48 feet. The tower would be a total of <br /> 68 feet high. The tower will be located on the east end of canopy and would sit within <br /> the circle planning area. Jon Swisher asked about the noise ordinance. Town attorney <br /> Tim Currens said the Board of Zoning Appeals was only concerned with variance to <br /> height. A neighbor asked how much noise there would be and how much the bell would <br /> ring. Town attorney Tim Currens told the resident the board was only concerned with the <br /> variance to height. Mr. Ehrhart said that currently they did not have a bell and didn't <br /> have the funding at the present time for a bell. They anticipate to have bells and music <br /> later on. Motion was made by Jon Swisher, second by Mike Young to approve the <br /> variance in height for the bell tower. Motion carded 5-0. <br /> <br /> Tom Spees representing his father John Spees requesting a variance for a business <br /> expansion. The current building consists of 6,000 square feet and they propose a 50 x <br /> 120 addition. This is located behind the Park buildings and is zoned agriculture (non- <br /> conforming use). They do light manufacturing. The property is in the father' s name <br /> only. The findings of fact were discussed. Strict application of zoning will apply. <br /> Motion was made by Don Barry, second by Chris Crouch to approve variance of non- <br /> conforming use and the approval of a 50x120 structure to use light manufacturing. <br /> Motion carded 5-0. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the board at this time a motion was made <br /> by Mike Young, second by Don Barry to adjourn the meeting.
