" 525 <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Maths, second by Councilman Clark to approve an <br /> amendment Ordinance//7, 2001 to the salary ordinance for 2001 to make the hourly wage <br /> for EDC Secretary from $ 8.76 to $12.93 for part time, and a fulltime yearly salary of <br /> $26,900.00. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Councilman Pygman stated he thought the State of Indiana used South Indiana Street as a <br />detour when they rebuilt the bridge on St. Highway//144 and the State had said they <br />would resurface South Indiana Street from Main Street to Highway 67. Others on the <br />council said the detour was for South Indiana Street from High Street to Highway 67, <br />which they did resurthce. Councilman Pygman said if the State wouldn't resurface South <br />Indiana Street from Main Street to High Street, he thought the Town should do this and <br />put in new curbs. Councilman Dolen told the council the State was doing core samples <br />on West Main Street and maybe the State was getting ready to resurface downtowrL <br />Councilman Pygman will contact the State and report back to the council. <br /> <br />The next meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be on Tuesday, August 21,2001, <br />at 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Dolen to approve <br /> payment of claims. M, at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Council members present were: President Tom Warthen, John L. Clark, Andy Pygman, <br /> Toby Dolen, and Mark Maths. No members were absent. <br /> <br /> Keith Koteskey from Community Church of Mooresville gave the prayer. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Mathis, second by Councilman Dolen to approve the <br /> minutes of August 7, 2001 meeting. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />'First on the agenda was the Brown Township Ambulance Agreement. The agreement <br />had been reviewed and signed by Brown Township Trustee and board. Motion was made <br />by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to sign the agreement. Motion <br />carried 3-2. Opposed, Tom Warthen and Mark Maths. <br /> <br />Next, Dean Mayfield, Mayfield Insurance, presented the health insurance quotes: <br />Fidelity Security maximum exposure plus riders of $125,000 would cost $738,289.92, <br />Lloyd's of London maximum exposure plus a rider of $75,000 would cost $ 806,886.52, <br />and AIG maximum exposure with no riders would cost $ 639, 973.60. Motion was made <br />by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Maths to go with AIG Health Insurance. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilman Maths, second by Councilman Dolen to keep Delta <br />Dental with it' s renewal rate of $14.14 for single (up $. 53) for single and $43.18 (up <br />$.88) for a family per month. Motion carried 5-0. The dental insurance is paid by the <br />town with no cost to the employees. <br /> <br /> <br />
