The Council decided by consensus to take the bids under advisement and vote at the ~4'~ <br /> March 5, 2002 meeting. <br /> <br /> The letter from Universal Appraisals to update values on the Town buildings will be <br /> investigated further by Councilman Mathis and be on the March 5, 2002 agenda. <br /> <br /> A letter of resignation from the Board of Zoning Appeals effective February 14, 2002 <br /> was received from Jeff Justus. He has changed his residency. Council President Warthen <br /> told the council Mr. Justus needed to be replaced with a member of the Plan Commission. <br /> He appointed Chris Crouch to serve on the Board of Zoning Appeals. Another executive <br /> appointment made was Charles McGuire to replace Republican Joel Beebe on the Plan <br /> Commission. This is a four year term thru December 31, 2005. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Pygman to approve the <br /> second reading of Ordinance 3, 2002, annexing the Yeager Property on Allison Road and <br /> Highway ~67~,.M[~on carried 4-1. Councilman Maths abstained. <br /> Animal ControlI~fficer Mark Taylor reported seventeen (17) calls, four (4) impounds, <br /> and three (3) returns. <br /> <br /> Randy Pruden addressed the council from the floor with questions on the Yeager <br /> annexation. Is property zoned? Yes, Agriculture. <br /> Is sewer service there? Yes. <br /> Mr. Pmden told the Council he lived on Allison Road and had lived there for years. He <br /> Had heard a rumor that Allison Road was going to be made a dead end road and a new <br /> road was going to go thru the Yeager Property out to Highway 67. He stated he had no <br /> problems with the annexation, but he did not want ulterior motives. Street Commissioner <br /> Joe Beikman told Mr. Pmden that the section he was talking about was already annexed <br /> into town. Town Attorney Tim Currens told Mr. Pmden that Mr. And Mrs. Yeager had <br /> petitioned the Town for annexation. Mr. Pmden then asked about the Pro Vet <br /> Warehouse, if it was going to be built at this location or on down farther south on <br />r---- Highway 67 in the industrial area. President Warthen informed him that Pro Vet was <br />~ looking at two locations; Plainfield and Mooresville and had not decided yet as to where <br />~__ they would build. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Pygman, second by Councilman Clark to approve <br /> payment of the claims. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Council at this time a motion was <br /> made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Pygman to adjourn the meeting. <br /> Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> The next meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held on Tuesday, March 5, <br /> 2002, at 6:30 P.
