M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Council members present were: President Tom Warthen, Mark Maths, Toby Dolen, <br /> John L. Clark, and Andy Pygman. Tim Currens, town attorney, was absent. <br /> <br /> Reverend Tom Malbone from the Mooresville Church of God gave the invocation. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Pygman to approve the <br /> minutes of the March 19, 2002 meeting. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> Helen Humes, Economic Director, reported to the Town Council the Economic <br /> Department had nominated two businesses for the one-half century award to be given on <br /> April 17, 2002, at 2:00 P. M. in the Rotunda at the Statehouse in Indianapolis. The two <br /> businesses: Citizens Bank and Newcomer Lumber. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to have <br /> Councilman Mathis pen a letter to invite'Mr. Dungy ( coach for the Colts) to Mooresville <br /> to speak to students, parents, and community members.
