Motion carried 3-0. Councilman Pygman came in to the <br /> meeting later. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Mathis to approve <br /> request for annexation from Lenard and Barbara Scott for the Church on Indianapolis <br /> Road. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br /> Joyce Smith, Downtown Merchant's Association, requested a re-schedule for their Sock <br /> Hop. The Sock Hop and Car Show was mined out on April 27, 2002. They wanted the <br /> date of May 18, 2002 from 3:00 P. M. to 9:00 P. M. and they would be sure to be cleared <br /> out by 11:00 P. M. or before curfew. Motion was made by Councilman Mathis, second <br /> by Councilman Clark to approve the date of May 18, 2002. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br /> CoUncilman Mathis reported to the council he had talked to Judy Anderson and asked her <br /> to come back to the May 21, 2002 meeting. In the meantime Councilman Mathis will <br /> find out her cost to hook on to the sewer. She lives across from North Madison Crossing <br /> and had been told it would cost her between 40 to 50,000 dollars to hook-on. Mr. Mathis <br /> wanted to look into this cost further. <br /> <br />Councilman Mathis also told the council that Wastewater Superintendent Danny Tingle <br />would not be present but would be on the agenda for May 21, 2002. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilman Mathis, second by Councilman Clark to transfer the <br />money from the six general departments budget line item #341 to Fund 32, the Self <br />Insured Health Fund. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />The Disaster Plan from the Fire Department will be moved to May 21, 2002 meeting. <br />Council President Tom Warthen still had some questions to check out. <br /> <br />Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported thirty'five (35) calls, six (6) impoUnds, and <br />two (2) returns. <br /> <br /> <br />
