September 3, 1991 <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Town Council met in executive session on Tuesday, September 3, <br /> 1991 at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Council members present were Pat Overholser, Steve Edwards, Steve Ballard and <br /> Dick Heald. Councilman Forbes was absent. <br /> <br /> Council attorney Tim Currens advised the Council of the offer from the property <br /> owners in regard to the purchase of property on West Harrison Street. <br /> <br /> The Council was also advised of items which are in litigation. <br /> <br /> President Heald adjourned the executive session of the Council at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br /> President <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br />/Clerk-Treasurer <br /> <br /> September 3, 1991 <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, September 3, <br /> 1991 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Council members present were Pat Overholser, Steve Edwards, Steve Ballard, <br /> and Dick Heald. Councilman Jack Forbes was absent. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> Mr. Greg Lynch, 5732 Port Au Prince, Apartment C, Indianapolis, Indiana <br /> 46224, appeared before the Council seeking damages done to his care when he hit <br /> a grate on St. Clair Street. The Council advised Mr. Lynch they would submit his <br /> claim to the Town's insurance carrier. <br /> <br /> Mr. Harry Vogel, 420 Styleline Drive, Mooresville appeared before the Council <br /> asking the Council to initiate a re-cycling program for the Town of Mooresville. <br /> President Heald appointed Mr. Vogel, Street Superintendent Joe Beikman and <br /> Clerk-Treasurer Ann Whaley to a committee to investigate the feasibility of a <br /> re-cycling program for the Town of Mooresville. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilman Ballard to <br /> give written notice to Allen Deerwester that the town will allow 31 lots of the <br /> Environmental Development Subdivision to hook on to the town sewage system con- <br /> tingent upon verification from HNTB the Town's engineering firm. <br /> Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman Overholser <br /> to allow Street Superintendent Joe Beikman to get estimates on a Vac Truck so <br /> the Council can assess the feasibility of such pruchase. Motion carried unanamosuly. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman Overholser <br /> to obtain a second appraisal on the Summit Finishing building. <br /> Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Councilman Edwards <br /> to approve Resolution #7-1991 A Resolution of the Mooresville Town Council <br /> Pledging Money Received By the Food and Beverage Tax Receipts Fund for the Town <br /> of Mooresville Redevelopment District Tax Increment Revenue Bonds of 1991 After <br /> the Issuance of Such Bonds. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Ballard and second by Councilman Edwards to <br /> approve the following transfer of funds: <br /> <br /> <br />
