November 15, 1994 <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council was held <br /> Tuesday, November 15, 1994 at 7:35 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Council members present were Tim Viles, Steve Edwards, Dick <br /> Heald and Pat Overholser. Council member Steve Ballard was absent. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Viles, second by Councilman <br /> Heald to approve the following banks to receive public funds of <br /> political subdivisions: First National Bank, Citizens Bank, Home <br /> Bank, Bank One, National Bank of Detroit and Mooresville Savings Bank. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Edwards <br /> to approve Ordinance #19-1994 An Ordinance Rezoning land Within the <br /> Town of Mooresville Upon the Application of Grace Missionary Church. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Council President Overholser appointed Joe Beikman, Tim Viles, <br /> Randy Haymaker, Ann Whaley and Pat Overholser to a committee to <br /> review the feasibility of the annexation request from Grace <br /> Missionary Church. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Edwards <br /> to allow Mr. Mark Rooker's AAU Basketball team to hold a roadblock <br /> on Saturday, November 19, 1994. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Viles, second by Councilman <br /> Heald to waive the street cut permit fee for the drive for Methodist <br /> Church on Indianapolis Road. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Edwards <br /> to award the contract for the northside sewer rehabilitation <br /> project to Swinney Brothers Contruction. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported he had twenty-seven <br /> (27) calls and impounded eight (8) animals. <br /> <br /> Motion to pay the bills and claims was made by Councilman <br /> Edwards, second by Councilman Viles. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards, second by Councilman <br /> Heald to adopt on second reading, Ordinance #18-1994 An Ordinance <br /> Regulating Animals. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman <br /> Viles to approve Resolution #2-1994 A resolution to reduce the 1994 <br /> Town of Mooresville budgets by $43,314.00. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Viles, second by Councilman <br /> Edwards to approve Resolution #3-1994 a resolution reducing the <br /> 1994 appropriations for the Town of Mooresville, $50,000.00 <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville <br />Town Council at this time, motion to adjourn was made by Councilman <br />Edwards, second by Councilman Viles.
