241 <br /> <br /> December 6, 1994 <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council was held <br />Tuesday, December 6, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Council members present were Tim Viles, Steve Edwards, <br />Dick Heald, Steve Ballard and Pat Overholser. No members were absent. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jerry Mayfield, 63 Sweetwood Drive, Mooresville, appeared <br />before the Council with the following observations: the intersection <br />of Indianapolis Road and Old State Road 67 should be a three way <br />stop; cars are parking to close to the corner of Crestwood Drive <br />and on other streets in the north addition; there is an influx <br />of semi-trucks parking in the north addition; there are utility poles <br />blocking vision at the corner of Sweetwood Drive and Indianapolis <br />Road; the construction at the Methodist Church on Indianapolis Road <br />has caused a chuck hole at the railroad track and there is mud <br />all over Indianapolis Road due to the construction. <br /> <br /> Mr. Darrell Crusce of Ambassador Steele appeared before the <br />Council requesting that the land owned by Ambassador Steele on <br />the south end of Mooresville be designated as an Economic Development <br />Revitalization Area. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards, second by Councilman <br />Heald to approve a Confirmatory Resolution for the Designation of <br />Economic Revitalization Area for Ambassador Steele. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Ballard, second by Councilman <br />Heald to adopt Ordinance #19-1994 An Ordinance Concerning the Annual <br />Compensation of the Officials and Employees of the Civil Town of <br />Mooresville, Indiana. Motion carried 4-0-1. Councilman Viles abstained. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman <br />Ballard to adopt Ordinance #19-1994 on the first reading. <br />Motion carried 4-0-1. Councilman Viles abstained. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman <br />Ballard to adopt Ordinance #20-1994 An Ordinance Rezoning land <br />Within the Town of Mooresville Upon the Application of Frank <br />H. lowry limited liability Company from B-1 to R-3. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards, second by Councilman <br />Viles to approve the Town Attorney's contract for 1994. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported he received <br />forty (40) calls, thirteen (13) animals impounded, five (5) <br /> animals returned to their owners. <br /> <br /> Motion to pay the bills and claims was made by Councilman <br />Edwards, second by Councilman Heald. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville <br />Town Council at this time, motion to adjourn was made by Councilman <br />Heald, second by Councilman Ballard.
