The letter the <br />Council President received dated November 26, 2002, informed the Fire Department that <br />with the improvements made the fire rating would stay at a 5. <br />Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported nineteen (19) calls, five (5) impounds, and <br />four (4) returns. <br />Motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Dolen to approve <br />payment of the claims. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />There being no further business to come before the council at this time, a motion was <br />made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to adjourn the meeting. <br />Motion carried 5 -0. > �� <br />Tom Warfhen, President <br />ATTF jT: <br />Sandra R. Perry, Clerk- Treasurer <br />December 17, 2002 <br />The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, December 17, 2002, <br />at 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br />Council members present were: President Tom Warthen, John L. Clark, Andy Pygman, <br />Toby Dolen, and Mark Mathis. No members were absent. Town attorney Tim Currrens <br />was present. <br />Larry Floyd of the First Baptist Church gave the invocation. <br />Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to approve the <br />minutes of Dec 3, 2002. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />Councilman Mathis told the council Chris Gale from HNTB was present to explain a <br />study proposed for enlargement of the Wastewater plant. The study would cost <br />$27,000.00 and would encompass needs over the next 20 years. They are looking at <br />capacity and sludge hauling. Mr. Gale explained this is not for construction but if <br />chosen, construction would be two steps after this initial study, and a representative <br />would be on site at all times during construction. Motion was made by Councilman <br />Dolen, second by Councilman Pygman to order the study at a cost of $27,000.00. Motion <br />carried 5 -0. <br />Motion was made by Councilman Mathis, second by Councilman Dolen to approve <br />Ordinance #9, 2002, setting the salaries of Town of Mooresville employees and elected <br />officials. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />Motion was made by Councilman Mathis, second by Councilman Clark to approve <br />Resolution # 14, 2002, the Park and Recreation Dist. Transfers. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />Motion was made by Councilman Mathis, second by Councilman Dolen to accept the <br />salary contract for the Town Attorney, Tim Currens, the salary the same as in 2002. <br />Motion carried 5 -0. <br />i <br />i <br />.
