The police <br />budget will be on the agenda for March 21, 2006. They will need to lower appropriations <br />by $32,500. <br />Legal: A motian was made by Cauncilman Shields with a second by Cauncilman Dolen <br />to apprvve Ordinance #3, 2006 setting out building and filing fees. Motion carried 4-1 <br />with Councilman Clark opposed. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Clark to appoint <br />Mark Mathis and Tom Warthen for another term to Morgan County Economic <br />Development Baard. Motion carried 4-1 with Councilman Bryant opposed. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Shields to <br />approve a lease agreement with Lions Club to accept payments up to $60,000 for New <br />Town Hall improvements. The Lions Club will hold their meetings in the New Town <br />Hall. Motion carried 5-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Shields to <br />accept a bid from Swinney Bros. for $27,462.00 to tear down 39 West Main Street, grade <br />and put 6 inches of stare on the lot ready to be paved. Joe had request three bids but only <br />received one back. Motian carried 5-0. The Redevelopment Commission had approved <br />up to $40,000 far renovation. <br />Animal Control Report: Twenty-eight (28) calls, nine (9) impounds, and five (5) returns. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Shields to <br />approve payment of claims. Motion carried 5-0. <br />There being no further business to come before the council at this time, a motion was <br />made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Clark to adjourn the meeting. <br />Motian carried 5-0. <br />The next meeting of the 1Vlooresville.
