The police budget will be on the agenda for March 21, 2006. They will need to lower appropriations by $32,500. Legal: A motian was made by Cauncilman Shields with a second by Cauncilman Dolen to apprvve Ordinance #3, 2006 setting out building and filing fees. Motion carried 4-1 with Councilman Clark opposed. A motion was made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Clark to appoint Mark Mathis and Tom Warthen for another term to Morgan County Economic Development Baard. Motion carried 4-1 with Councilman Bryant opposed. A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Shields to approve a lease agreement with Lions Club to accept payments up to $60,000 for New Town Hall improvements. The Lions Club will hold their meetings in the New Town Hall. Motion carried 5-0. A motion was made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Shields to accept a bid from Swinney Bros. for $27,462.00 to tear down 39 West Main Street, grade and put 6 inches of stare on the lot ready to be paved. Joe had request three bids but only received one back. Motian carried 5-0. The Redevelopment Commission had approved up to $40,000 far renovation. Animal Control Report: Twenty-eight (28) calls, nine (9) impounds, and five (5) returns. A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Shields to approve payment of claims. Motion carried 5-0. There being no further business to come before the council at this time, a motion was made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Clark to adjourn the meeting. Motian carried 5-0. The next meeting of the 1Vlooresville. Town Council will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at 6:301'.
