<br />Councilman Bryant comme~ated the Police Commission meeting minutes said they had <br />.ordered two motorcycles. How could they do that? Da the Police Commissioners make <br />that decision or the Town Council? Council President Worthen told the council he had <br />talked with Police Commissioner Kays and told him he would not support this or <br />campaign against this. Council President Worthen told the council the request for shift <br />differential came before the Council because it was involved. with the salary ordinance. <br />He also made the comment three months prior the police needed three more officers and <br />now they were spending money far xx-otorcycles. Coznm.issioner Kays said the <br />motorcycles were a one year trial period. <br />Animal Control Officer, Mark Taylor, reported nineteen (19) calls, nine (9) impounds, <br />and six (6) returned. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Dolen to <br />approve payment of the claims.
